WHY SHOULD I HIRE A PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP ARTIST?

Professional Makeup Artistry is an art that is perfected over time and years of experience dealing with all diffrerent genres, textures, and techniques of makeup application and professional environments. It is important to know the difference in an everyday makeup, and one that is designed to be condusive to hours of wear, environmental conditions and the camera's eye! Hiring a professional means that not only will you look absoluely stunning in natural light, and in 'real life', but also in the photos that will capture your look for generations to come!

I have worked for over a decade to perfect and hone the craft of Professional Makeup Artistry, and have an enormous passion for creating glamour and beauty for women for any professional makeup need!

WILL YOU TRAVEL TO MY LOCATION?

I can bring your beauty experience right to you, wherever you are preparing for your special day. This allows you to save time, money, and to help you relax . I bring my entire kit, lashes and all!

DO YOU HAVE YOUR OWN STUDIO?

I do have a beautiful studio space, conveniently located in Downtown Sacremento

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN YOUR FULL MAKEUP APPLICATION?

With each and every service, you will recieve a full makeup application with which I pay very close attention to detail. My makeup artistry features creating a long wearing, skin -enhancing face makeup that includes coverage in all needed areas, a natural application of the only the very best products that will contour, highlight and showcase your natural facial features, and bronzing and/or shimmer in any areas of exposed skin on neck, back and shoulders. I provide and have perfected the art of creating a long lasting , natural or dramatic water resisistant eyemakeup application that can withstand heat, sweat and many hours of wear, and false eyelash application ranging from the most subtle of enhancement to your lash line, to the most bold and sexy extreme!

WHAT IS THE PERSONAL ASSISTANCE YOU OFFER?

As part of my bridal service, after everyone in your party's services are completed, I offer time for touch ups during your photographs before your ceremony. The amount of time is stated on my "Pricing" page, and depends on the size of your party. If any more time is needed, it is available to you for a fee of $50 per each additional hour.

CAN I CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT?

There is no charge to cancel an appointment, however it must be done 24 hours in advance, and any deposits made to hold your event date will not be refunded. In the very unlikely event that I must cancel, any deposits made by you to me will be refunded immediately by mail.

WHEN SHOULD I REQUEST A TRIAL RUN FOR BRIDAL MAKEUP?

It is recommended that you request a trial no more than two months before your wedding date, but not mandatory. Trial runs are typically scheduled In-Studio only, and designed for the bride only as a one-time service. Any additional trials will have the same fee as the first. If any of your attendees wish to have a trial run, it should be scheduled along with yours, and will be charged the same fee as yours. Once your trial date has been set, I will email you directions, my contact phone number, and a list of things that will prepare you for our session together if you desire.

HOW MANY LOOKS CAN I TRY DURING MY TRIAL RUN?

You should already have an idea of your desired look for your wedding day, and it is recommended that you bring along with you some examples, such as photos or images of your look. Once we have consulted about it, we will try one complete makeup look.

DO YOU ALSO STYLE HAIR?

Makeup artistry is my focus, and passion. The hairstyling I do is typically more of the loose, natural down, or vintage styles you will see in most of my Boudoir and Pin-up photo work. I love hair extensions, and have worked with them a lot. If you desire a look that requires them, they must be provided by you, and it is recommended that they are natural human hair extensions that can withstand heat styling. Should you desire a more complicated up-do for your wedding day, I can provide you with the contact information of a bridal hairstyling specialist, and we will work together to create a look just for you on your special day. A separate trial run with your hairstylist may be necessary.

I have had several years of makeup artistry experience and dealing with clients on a freelance basis. I have spent many years developing my craft to offer a service that is not only detailed and professional, but one that is tailored to suit my clients' needs on an individual basis. I am committed to making sure that your experience is one that will result in soemthing that you will want to brag about! I love my brides, and I like to develop a relationship and keep a clear communication with each one of them. I think the preparation for your wedding day should be a fun, relaxed, special and glamorous experience, and I try to provide all of those things for my bride and her party.
